Our Process

Real Estate Explained opened it’s doors in 20XX and since that time has helped countless real estate industry professionals obtain the qualifications and accreditation they need to progress in their careers.

All employees of REAL ESTATE EXPLAINED come from, and many are still in, real estate agencies. Our trainers are active Real Estate Directors.

Our CEO and Senior Trainer & Assessor Kerry Shephard has worked in real estate agency in Macarthur since 1977. She was the Director of two real estate agencies & manager of another two.

In the past she has been Chairperson of Macarthur & Southern Highlands Division of the Real Estate Institute (REI) of NSW. She was also a committee member of REI of NSW Commission Disputes and Macarthur Economic Development & Growth (MEDAG).

Kerry has also been an active member of local business groups, being President of the Camden Chamber of Commerce & Industry 2006 & 2007 and Vice President in 2008 & 2009.

Her many community engagements would also see her involved in the Light Up Camden Festival since 2006, winner of the Macarthur Volunteer of the Year (Business Category) 2014 and runner-up in the Camden Citizen of the Year 2014.
